You can delete your InterChat account at any time, either in the app or from our website.
In the app (quickest):
- Go to Profile → Settings.
- Tap Account → Delete account.
- Read the summary, confirm with your password (or the code we email you if you signed in with Google, Facebook or Apple), and tap Delete account.
On interchathq.com/delete-account, if you no longer have the app or can't sign in:
- Enter the email address on your account and tap Request Deletion.
- Enter the 6-digit code we email you and tap Confirm Deletion.
Deletion is immediate and can't be undone. Your account, profile, connections, community memberships, stories and streaks are deleted straight away. Messages you've sent to others stay in their chats, shown without your profile — the same as in any messaging app.
Before you delete: - InterChat Plus isn't cancelled automatically — cancel your subscription first in your App Store or Google Play settings, or see Cancelling InterChat Plus. - If you lead a community, another admin takes over, or if you're the only one, a member is made admin. - Want a copy of your information first? Email privacy@interchathq.com before deleting.
