Creating an InterChat account takes a couple of minutes.
- Open the app and tap Sign up.
- Enter your email address or phone number.
- Enter the verification code we send you.
- Enter your date of birth and a few basic details to finish setting up your account.
Why we ask for your date of birth. InterChat is for people aged 13 and older, so we ask everyone for their date of birth to confirm they're old enough to use the app. If you're under the age of digital consent where you live (for example, under 18 in some countries), you'll need a parent or guardian's permission to use InterChat.
We don't create accounts for anyone under 13. If we later learn an account belongs to someone under 13, we delete it.
One person, one account: don't create an account in someone else's name, and don't share your account with anyone else.
