For hosts: managing a Prayer Room

If you're hosting a Prayer Room, you and any co-hosts you add have tools to keep it running well:

  • Mute people, including muting everyone at once if the room needs to settle.
  • Manage turns, recognising raised hands โœ‹ in the order that works for your room.
  • Remove someone from the room, if needed.
  • End the room for everyone when you're finished.

Please use these tools fairly, and only when needed โ€” they're there to keep the room safe and focused, not to control the conversation unfairly.

Like the rest of InterChat, Prayer Rooms aren't recorded by InterChat, and nobody should record or rebroadcast one without the agreement of everyone present. See Prayer Rooms aren't recorded.

If something happens in your room that breaks InterChat's Community Guidelines, you can report it the same way as anywhere else in the app โ€” see Reporting and what happens next.
